Got it Want it ("the app") is developed by Jennifer Craig. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

Information We Collect

Got it Want it stores your collection data (item names, photos, values, and notes) locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data does not leave your device except as described below.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• eBay Browse API — used to search for item market values. Item names are sent to eBay to retrieve pricing data. See eBay's privacy policy at ebay.com/help/policies/member-behaviour-policies/ebay-privacy-policy
• UPC Item DB — used to look up product information by barcode. UPC codes are sent to upcitemdb.com to retrieve product details.
• Perenual — used to retrieve plant care information. Plant names are sent to perenual.com to retrieve care guides.
• Amazon Associates — the app contains affiliate links to Amazon.com. Purchases made through these links may earn a commission. See Amazon's privacy policy at amazon.com/privacy

Photos

Photos you add to your collection are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to any server.

iCloud

If you have iCloud enabled, your collection data may be backed up to your personal iCloud account as part of standard iOS backup. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties beyond the services listed above, which are necessary for app functionality.

Children's Privacy

Got it Want it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
